Module 7 — Flatwork: Proof + Upsells (Lesson)
What you’re doing today
You’re learning how to document flatwork so it becomes:
- proof for the customer
- protection for you
- marketing fuel
Why this matters
Flatwork before/after is one of the strongest scroll-stoppers.
If you document it correctly, it sells the next job for you.
Proof Pack (flatwork version)
Follow:
Step-by-step: the “marketing angle” routine
- Take the before shot from the same angle you’ll use after.
- Include an edge line or reference point so it’s obvious.
- After the clean, match the exact angle.
- Take one close-up of the worst spot.
Natural upsells (say it like this)
- House wash (walls match the new concrete)
- Roof soft wash (if growth is visible)
- Windows (curb appeal bundle)
Decision points
- If the customer is HOA or listing the home:
- emphasize curb appeal + documentation.
What good looks like
- Customer immediately sees the difference
- You have proof that matches angles
Do this next (assignment)
- Capture 3 flatwork before/after pairs with identical angles.
- Write a one-sentence upsell line for house wash.
