The Tampa Bay Soft Wash standard
We are not the cheapest.
We are the cleanest process.
And here’s the part most beginners miss: this trade is easy to overcomplicate on Day 1.
Start simple. Build momentum. Protect your body.
Undercharging isn’t hustle — it’s a liability plan. Ladders don’t care what the customer paid. Price so you can work safely, show up professionally, and still be here next year.
That means we win with:
- safe methods
- protection
- documentation
- communication
Non‑negotiables (the Tampa Bay Soft Wash standard)
- No high pressure roofs. Ever. Roofs are soft wash only.
- Pressure is for flatwork (concrete/pavers/flatwork). Soft wash is for everything else.
- House wash rule: apply bottom-up, rinse top-down.
- Ladder stabilizers are non-negotiable when applicable. If a stabilizer can’t be used due to circumstances, slow down and choose a safer setup.
- Stained/sealed wood front doors must be protected. Avoid direct chemical contact. When possible: open door → wrap door in plastic → close door → drape a second sheet in front.
- Plant protection is part of the job.
- Proof Pack is part of delivery.
- Final Walk is part of delivery.
What “perfect” looks like
- Customer knows what’s happening.
- Property is protected.
- Before/after is documented.
- Jobsite is clean.
- Closeout happens same day.
